Council Departments

Council operates three main departments as follows:-

ADMINISTRATION

Director Corporate Services - Mr Glenn Carroll

This Department is responsible for finance and administration, human resources, information technology, library, tourism and economic development.

HEALTH AND BUILDING

Director of Environmental Services - Mr Shane Wilson

This Department carries out regulatory functions in relation to environmental control, planning, development, swimming pools and waste control.

ENGINEERING

Director Engineering - Mr Bill Twohill

This Department is responsible for the construction and maintenance of roads, bridges, contracts/project management with the RTA, drainage systems, parks and gardens, noxious weeds and fire control.
